Autocabsin Storage uses a minimal storage preference on autocabsin.media. This page explains what is stored and how to change it.

Local storage key

When you choose Accept or Decline on the banner, the site writes a value to browser localStorage under the key autocabsin_uppsala_ledger_26. The value is either accepted or declined.

That key exists only to hide the banner on later visits. It does not identify you across other websites.

What we do not use

These pages do not load third-party analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or external font and image CDNs. Inline styles and scripts stay inside each HTML file.

Hosting providers may still process technical logs as described in the Privacy Policy.

How to clear the preference

Clear site data for autocabsin.media in your browser settings, or remove the localStorage entry named autocabsin_uppsala_ledger_26. The banner will appear again on the next visit.

Banner placement

The consent panel is a dark ledger-style box fixed at the bottom centre of the viewport so it remains readable on mobile and desktop without covering the main navigation tabs.

Choosing Decline still lets you read the site; it simply records that you declined further storage of that preference until you clear it.
